JSC KZ OTsM provides financial support for the restoration and rebuilding of heritage buildings in the Kirov region. We also support the construction of new cultural and religious facilities.

For example, with the blessings of the Patriarch of Moscow and All-Russia Alexei II the company assisted in the rebuilding of the church of the Holy Martyrs Sts. Vera, Nadezhda, and Lyubov and their Mother Sophia in Kirov.

The enterprise participates in the reconstruction of the religious complex in Velikoretskoye, Yuriansk district. For more than 600 years, the complex has been the destination of Orthodox Christian pilgrims as an icon of St. Nicholas was discovered here. By 2003, the pilgrimage had become popular all over Russia.

In 2003 – in recognition for his contributions to the construction of churches in the Vyakta eparchy – JSC KZ OTsM’s director general A.I. Darensky was awarded the Order of St. Sergius Radonezhsky, 3rd Grade, by the Patriarch of Moscow and All-Russia. Currently, JSC KZ OTsM is taking part in the reconstruction of the Tsar Konstantin church, one of the oldest churches in Vyatka (Kirov region).

The company has also assisted two city schools and the Orlov Children’s Home, providing funds for repairs, inventory acquisitions, and school supplies. Other cultural and sports organizations in Kirov benefit from our assistance.

JSC KZ OTsM assists the Kirov Sodruzhestvo charitable fund – established by the Kirov city administration. Our company also founded five named grants for students and teachers of Kirov city schools.

KZ OTsM is actively involved in other UMMC social projects. An example of these is the Children of Russia endowment – whose founder and president is A.A.Kozitsyn, director general of UMMC. The endowment’s purpose is to create favorable conditions for the development of children, including orphans. Funds are given for recreational activities, sports, and fostering the creative potential of the younger generation.
