05.12.06 | The KZ OTSM has increased rolled stock production rate by 5% in ten months

From January to October 2006 the JSC KZ “OTsM” (an affiliate of the Ural Mining-and-Metallurgical Company (UMMC)) produced 27.5 thousand tons of rolled metal (104.9% comparing to the same period in 2005), including: rolled copper – 11.2 tons (123,4%), rolled brass – 16 000 (as high as within the similar period in 2005), rolled bronze – 0.3 thousand (as high as within the similar period in 2005).

“The KZ OTsM has been holding a steady production rate right from the beginning of this year, the rolled metal manufactured in Kirov is of much demand, and the sales are quite effective, so due to all this we can expect that, in comparison with the previous year, in 2006 the volumes of product output and sales rate will expand” – says the KZ OTsM Commercial Director A.A. Kislitsky.
