ENVIRONMENTAL POLICY

The Joint Stock Company Kirov Non-Ferrous Metal Processing Plant produces and processes copper and copper alloys.
Since the production and processing of such materials can result in environmental pollutants, the company’s management has it made a priority to decrease the negative environmental impact of the plant.
In this activity, we will be guided by the following principles:
1. Maintaining a level of environmental management that meets and exceeds the requirements of ISO 14001-2004, as well as constantly improving the performance of our environmental management system.
2. To meet all requirements of environmental regulations.
3. To actively involve staff in the managing of our environmental sustainability program through training and incentives.
4. To continuously work on decreasing the risk of environmental pollution and the prevention of environmental emergency situations.
5. To apply state-of-the-art technologies, and to utilize equipment and materials with lower environmental impact.
6. Not to be satisfied with the current level of environmental sustainability, but to always challenge ourselves to find better ways to reduce the environmental impact of our production process.
7. To maintain an open dialogue with all stakeholders interested in the environmental sustainability policies of JSC KZ OTsM.
Development of our business and protection of the environment are interrelated and inseparable.
The management of JSC KZ OTsM is responsible for the implementation of this policy and calls on the company’s staff to support the management with its implementation.
